The Prime Minister of Senegal receives the President of the UEMOA Commission
The meeting between Amadou BA and Abdoulaye DIOP took place on 23 December 2023 at the Prime Minister's Office in Dakar.
The discussions focused in particular on the current challenges facing the Union. Abdoulaye Diop updated the Prime Minister on the Union's macroeconomic situation, with a growth rate of 5.7% in 2023 and inflationary pressures easing. He informed the Prime Minister that these issues were on the agenda of the last session of the UEMOA Statutory Council of Ministers, held in Cotonou on 21 December 2023.
